Acceptance
These terms govern your use of tacticssource.com. By browsing the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We may update the terms as the project changes; the date at the head of this page always indicates the current version.

What this site is
TacticsSource is an editorial project that publishes reviews and descriptions of free mobile games distributed through Google Play. It is informational in nature. Ratings, verdicts and rankings are the considered opinion of the desk, formed after playing each title, and they are not statements of fact, professional advice or a guarantee of your own enjoyment.
We are not a store. No game can be downloaded, purchased or installed here. Every reference leads to the game's own page on Google Play, where the developer's terms and Google's terms apply instead of ours.

Advertising disclosure
The site is free for readers and carries no subscription. It is funded by advertising in two forms, both disclosed openly on the front page under section 5.0, "Open ledger":
- Paid promotion. A studio or an advertising network may pay for a game to be featured on this site with a link to its Google Play page. Such placements are labelled where they appear.
- Advertising monetisation of recommended Play4Free titles. The games we recommend are free to install and earn from advertising displayed inside them; the desk may be compensated within that ecosystem.
Editorial independence is the condition of doing this at all. A commercial arrangement cannot buy a rating, alter a verdict, change the order of the index or suppress a criticism. If we ever cannot review a title independently, we will not publish it.

TacticsSource is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Google LLC, Google Play, or any of the developers and studios whose games are described here, including blueflower, Florian van Strien, Fancade, gamebra.in, State of Play, brennerd, Orange Void, NimbleBit LLC and Simon Grimm. All product names and trade marks are used for identification and review purposes only.

Intellectual property
Game titles, icons, screenshots, logos and trade marks belong to their respective rights holders. They appear on this site in reduced form for the purpose of describing and reviewing the games, as permitted for reporting and criticism. If you hold rights in material shown here and object to its use, write to [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.
The editorial texts, the design, the structure of the index and the layout of this site are the work of TacticsSource. You may quote short passages with a visible reference to tacticssource.com. Republishing whole reviews, or reproducing the design, requires our written permission.

Accuracy and availability
Store facts — developer name, average rating, number of ratings, install count, price and availability — are recorded from Google Play at the time of writing and re-checked periodically. They change without notice and may differ in your country. The store page is always the authoritative source, and you should confirm price and content there before installing anything.
We aim to keep the site available and correct, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or that a game described here will still exist tomorrow.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied representations of any kind, including any implied undertaking of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, TacticsSource is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this site, from reliance on an opinion published here, or from your use of any third-party service reached through a link. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Canadian consumer protection legislation.

Links to Google Play and to other external sites are provided for convenience. We do not control those destinations, we are not responsible for their content or their handling of personal information, and their inclusion is not an endorsement of anything beyond the game being discussed.

Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, retrieve its content by automated bulk copying, or use it to distribute unsolicited commercial messages. The dispatch form is for genuine subscriptions; submitting another person's details without their agreement is not permitted and would also fall foul of Canada's anti-spam rules.

How we handle personal information is set out in the privacy notice, and storage on your device is described in the cookie notice. Both form part of these terms.

Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province in which the desk is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes fall to the competent Canadian courts, save for any mandatory right you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings where you live.
